Hey everyone, how are you?

About a year ago we started working on the new project. We’ve taken an idea of Snippets and built a new, more powerful service. Today I’d like to introduce it to you.

Since the latest Snippets update Apple has released the next version of OS X with some new features such as full-screen apps. We've got a lot of requests for that and we decided to release minor version along the way to 2.0.

So, today we are happy to releas Snippets 1.4 (read the release notes here) with some new features, improvements and bugfixes. Check for update and enjoy.

We have been working on Snippets for a long time. We had worked in private on the Snippets core for some months, then we published our first public alpha version on last October 2009. And now, after the app has been in development for about one year, we believe it is the time to release version 1.0.

Yes we are so excited: finally, this is our LAUNCH!

In this post, we are going to explain how our community helped us, announce our new company name, web site and logo, and of course announce Snippets price.
