In the latest release of Snippets we have introduced a new feature called Snippets Expander. This feature allows you to expand a short trigger string assigned to any snippet right in your IDE. This is an initial release and it can be improved a lot. We’d like to get your feedback to make it better.

We’ve been working on the next major release for a while. It takes a lot of time and requires a lot more, so, we decided not to wait until a huge 2.0 update is ready and make a release with the features that are ready to use now.

Let’s walk through some of them.
